The Prime Minister (Mr Chifley)
should immediately order an inves
tigation into the -Esperance Bay in
cident, the conflicting statements of
his Ministers, the actions of officers
mentioned by Mr Makin and Mr
Calwcll. and the Communist
Party's association with the Indo
nesians, said the Leader of the
Country Party (Mr Fadden) today.
The Acting Minister for External
Affairs (Mr Makin) declined today
to make any statement on the
allegation of conflict on facts be
tween himself and the Minister for
Migration (Mr Cnlwell).
